General: We ask that you please be respectful of our property, as we have worked very hard to create a unique and fun experience for you as our guests! Smoking/vaping is PROHIBITED inside. If you do smoke outside, please clean up all remnants. Absolutely NO pets allowed. Water Conservation Policy To ensure the sustainability of our beautiful mountain environment, we kindly ask all guests to use water mindfully during their stay. Please limit shower times, turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, and report any leaks immediately. We also encourage the reuse of towels and linens to reduce water consumption. These small actions help preserve our natural resources and keep the mountains pristine for future visitors. Run the washer sparingly. Only run the dishwasher when it's full. DO NOT wash your car. You will be held responsible for any damage incurred to the house during your stay If something breaks or is damaged, please reach out to us to let us know ASAP - it will help us address any issues quickly for you and for our future guests. Toilets are for toilet paper ONLY. No grease in the sink! No Parties: This house is only for use for those that booked it. We strictly do not allow parties of any type. No unexpected guests. Inside Fireplace: NO smores inside - any marshmallow or food residue can damage the gas fireplace, causing a replacement, which you will be held financially responsible for To operate the fireplace, please ONLY use the timer switch on the wall, to the right of the fireplace Hot Tub: Absolutely NO Glass allowed in the hot tub. Please use plastic cups if you wish to have a beverage while using the hot tub Please dry off before re-entering the house Friendly reminder - please be responsible with kids while using the hot tub DO NOT stand or sit on the hot tub lid. If you break the lid, you will be held financially responsible to replace it! Trash (What to do with trash bags that are full): Place all trash in bear-proof trash bins located outside - opposite the window in the kitchen next to the AC unit Bears (Note any wildlife or other things to expect while staying at the house): Black bears are very prevalent in the Smoky Mountains and frequent this area! NEVER feed bears Do not leave food or trash outside Bears typically mind their own business, unless they feel threatened or they are defending their cubs If cubs are present, do not go near the cubs! Momma bear will protect her cubs at all costs Furniture: Please do not move furniture Please remember that this property is our house and not a hotel. We have poured our heart and soul into this house. Please be respectful of the property and the neighborhood. The cleaning service is hired to only wash linens, clean bathrooms and surfaces. They DO NOT clean up unnecessary trash or mess left behind. If there is any damage or excessive mess incurred during your stay, your group will be held responsible. Have a wonderful stay!
